

Biography
David Salvi joined Salvi & Maher as a law clerk in 2018 and was hired as an associate attorney in August 2022. He focuses his practice on assisting people who have been injured or killed because of another person’s negligence.
David was born and raised in Lake County, Illinois. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and interned in Washington, D.C., for the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) at the White House. He then earned his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law. During his time as a law student, he was honored as a finalist for the Paul M. Lisnek Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. He was also elected as Treasurer of the Federalist Society. He provided free legal assistance as an extern for Land of Lincoln Legal Aid, a non-profit organization in central Illinois. He graduated law school with a Pro Bono Notation for performing over 60 hours of pro bono service.
David was sworn into the Illinois bar in November 2022. He volunteers as a tutor at Chicago’s Midtown Educational Foundation, where he works weekly with 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. He and his wife currently live in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago.
